There is an emphasis on consciousness and the working metaphysics of a conscious individual. I see the struggle inherent in appreciating one’s own mental stirrings if we are situated in a formless space or perhaps more literally a society that fails to acknowledge our own borders and therefore the space we seek to inhabit.
