Synopsis
Short dance film inspired by da Vinci’s Last Supper seasoned with a little bit of Rembrandt’s style about life and death of Jesus and his apostles.
The painting becomes only a starting point of inspiration, we try to transfer it, transform it and find a way to it through the language of film. The film explores boundaries in the presence of several objects – the pictorial composition, the 5 dancers, their bodies and their movement.

Director Biography – Eva Rezová
Eva Rezová is a choreographer/director, dancer and teacher. She studied at the Duncan Centre Conservatory, choreography at HAMU in Prague, Royal Conservatoire Antwerp in Belgium and National Taiwan University of Arts. She has worked as a performer in the dance film Impulsum and the music video More Than Enough for Me.

czech: Eva Rezová je choreografka/režisérka, tanečnice a pedagožka. Studovala konzervatoř Duncan Centre, choreografii na pražské HAMU, Royal Conservatoire Antwerp v Belgii a National Taiwan University of Arts. V rámci filmové tvorby se podílela jako interpretka na tanečním filmu Impulsum a na videoklipu More Than Enough for Me.

Director Statement
The film is based on my original performance Picturam – it is a dance-dramatic production in the genre of contemporary dance. So I was interested in how to translate fragments of choreography into film language and capture the movement material through the eye of the camera.

czech: Film vznikl na základě mého autorského představení Picturam – jedná se o tanečně-dramatickou inscenaci v žánru současného tance. Zajímalo mě tedy, jak převést fragmenty choreografie do filmového jazyka a zachytit pohybový materiál okem kamery.
