Director Statement

As my first dance short film created at this caliber, this project was more than a digital work—it was a lived experience, shaped by the hands and hearts of an incredible team of artists, mentors, and community members.

The process of making this film was just as vital as the film itself. Through consultations, workshops, and mentorship, we moved with intentionality, holding space for dialogue, experimentation, and reflection. We asked: How do we move through change? How do we embody care in times of crisis? And how do we stitch together our fractured landscapes—both personal and environmental—through art?

I am deeply grateful to the artists who trusted in this vision, who brought their brilliance and generosity to every step of this journey. This film is not just a product—it is a testament to process, to collaboration, and to the ongoing work of stitching change, one thread at a time.
