Director Biography – Juá Leindecker, Flora Leles

Juá Leindecker is a non-binary multidisciplinary artist born in Porto Alegre and currently based in Salvador, Bahia, Brazil. Working across dance, music, and visual arts. A performer-creator, audiovisual director, and cultural producer, they develop research-driven works that intersect bodily, sonic, and visual languages. Juá studies Dance at the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA) and is enrolled in the Professional Technical Dance Program at FUNCEB, integrating hip hop and queer urban dance culture with musical and visual experimentation. Their audiovisual work includes the short film Rota, developed within the UFBA project Pé de Calçada, as well as collaborations in authorial and commercial productions.
